Hello 2024, I’m ready for you!
Here we are… One year older!! I hope this newsletter finds you well and rested, just like Lindon and I feel after a much-needed break over the holiday season. We’re excited to kick off 2024, January is one of our favourite months, it’s as a fresh start brimming with opportunities and adventures.
Our Christmas this year was all about relaxation and quality time with family and loved ones – loved it. Christmas lunch was at Bacchus restaurant in Prestbury, a personal favourite spot of mine in the north west. It’s so nice to get out and about on Christmas Day, to beat the sleepiness! Plus the festive atmosphere and delicious food made for a truly memorable day.
As the year drew to a close, we welcomed the New Year with a trip to London. On the 30th we had dinner at Claridge’s, one of the most iconic hotels in the world and a London gem for us – we always have such a wonderful time when we’re there. We ate at the Foyer Restaurant, more delicious dishes and raised our glasses to the promise of the coming year. Then for New Years Eve we partied the night away with friends at the Ivy Club – so much fun.
In January it was also time for a bit of sun, with a brief escape to the stunning Viceroy Sugar Beach resort in breathtaking St. Lucia. I’ll share more pictures soon, but it’s one of the most naturally beautiful places I have ever been and the resort provided us with the perfect environment to recharge and refocus. While we continued to work, the change of scenery and atmosphere set the tone for an invigorating start to the year.
So, as we venture into 2024, we do it fully charged and excited – I have some brilliant charity news to share soon plus there’s the work on the Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball 2024, which will be on the 16th November, to get cracking on with.
We just want to take this opportunity to wish every one of you a joyful, prosperous, and happy new year.
Here’s to a fresh start and all the promise it holds!
