I knew my favourite holiday of year was approaching when it was time for my Elf on the Shelf event
It was the inaugural event I hosted and organised that was guaranteed to put a smile on the faces of the kids of the north-west…. Ok, and me too!
On the 15th of November at the Brooklyn Hotel in Manchester, I hosted a festive event for 25 children from St John Vianney School in Stretford and 25 children from Ashgate School in Wythenshawe. My amazing friends from The Lumistella Company, home of The Elf on the Shelf® were my co-hosts, and as you can imagine there was lots of ‘elf ‘fun!
Throughout the day, The Elf on The Shelf® Scout Elf mascots appeared, as well as a face painter, a balloon modeller, and a puppeteer who entertained the children around the room. Special gift bags were provided for each child by The Lumistella Company, Thornycroft, Danilo, Aykroyds, Signature Publishing, Pretty Little Thing and Rocket Licensing. A big thank you to everyone involved.
The event is very special to me and something I feel very passionately about. It was all made possible from a portion of the proceeds from The Michael Josephson MBE Ball 2021.
Christmas is a very important time of year, all kids (and adults!) deserve to feel special and EVERYONE deserves some fun – especially after the couple of years we’ve all had.
Here’s to more ho ho ho fun in December!
