It’s November! And we all know what that means…
A new month is upon us, and with that, we are in the final furlong of the Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball 2024!
It’s been non-stop, and will continue to be that way right up until the last minute. One of the most recent ball-related pieces of news I have been able to share is that, as well as the iconic Lulu, we have also revealed that Alife Boe OBE will also perform.
My guests will be treated to a performance from the Tony and Grammy award winner as he officially opens the evening’s festivities. It’s a busy time for Alfie, as he is currently staring as Jean Valjean in a worldwide arena tour of Les Misérables, which will arrive at Manchester’s AO Arena on the 26th – 29th of December. His performance at The Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball will follow the release of his sixth studio album with Michael Ball titled Together At Home, which will be released on the 8th of November. Both Alfie and Michael will then embark on their 2025 arena tour, with tickets now on sale. It’s amazing that Alife has found time in his jam-packed schedule to help support our fundraising efforts and we are all hugely thankful!
Talking about his appearance at the charity ball, Alfie said, “I am delighted to be performing at this year’s Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball. Michael and I met in Manchester earlier this year, where he told me all about the ball and the difference the money raised makes to the charities it supports. Being from the North, I am so pleased to be able to support the ball and the work it does to help those who need it most.”
We’re also so thankful to all the many individuals, brands and organisations that have donated lots to the Grand Auction this year – it’s going to be a big one! We still have some to reveal but those who follow my social media will have already seen some truly wonderful lots, including:
