Do you want the good news, the better news, or the amazing news?
Well….. we did it! I am thrilled to report the phenomenal success of the Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball 2023, which took place on the 11th of November at the Hilton Hotel Deansgate. I am absolutely delighted to share that we raised an astounding £1,063,872, making it the first £1 million plus charity gala in the north of England. This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the overwhelming support and generosity of so many amazing individuals and organisations.
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to our headline sponsors, Knight Knox and Robertson Group, whose unwavering commitment to our cause has been nothing short of remarkable. Their generosity and support have been instrumental in making this event such a resounding success.
I also want to express my sincere thanks to Julie Perry Events, particularly Julie, Abi, and Faye, whose tireless efforts and exceptional event planning skills were pivotal in the flawless execution of the Charity Ball. Their dedication and attention to detail ensured that the evening was truly spectacular.
Special thanks also go to Darren Proctor for his brilliant hosting and to all our guests and performers, including the incredibly talented Sophie Ellis-Bextor and The Overtones, whose fabulous performances made the evening unforgettable.
I cannot praise the team at Hilton Manchester enough for their exceptional service and support throughout the event. Their professionalism and dedication contributed greatly to the seamless and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
I would also like to express my gratitude to our generous sponsors, Lumistella home of Elf On The Shelf, Summitup Climbing, Beaverbrooks, Network Space, and our partners Boodles, Bentley, Bentley Manchester, Stock 2015 Ltd, Clarendon Fine Art, Co-Op Live, Overfinch, Overfinch Manchester, and Swizzels, who have supported us every step of the way.
I am of course incredibly thankful to the charities we support—Variety, the Children’s Charity, Mahdlo Youth Zone, The Anne Frank Trust, and Rainbow Trust—for their invaluable partnership and dedication to making a positive impact in our communities.
Last but not least, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to every single guest, donor, and bidder who contributed to the success of the Charity Ball. Your generosity and support have made a significant difference in the lives of those in need, and for that, I extend my deepest thanks.
