There’s going to be ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’!
As the warmth of summer slowly gives way to the crisp coolness of autumn, I am delighted to reach out and share my excitement for the coming season with all of you. There is a certain magical charm that autumn brings and it’s one of my favourite seasons.
Of course, the onset of autumn means that the Michael Josephson Charity Ball 2023 is almost with us – so mark your calendars (if not already!), for the 11th of November! Things are looking great so far. As most of you will have seen our headline act is none other than the amazing Sophie Ellis-Bextor, an artist who has brought us so much joy with her iconic dancefloor fillers over the years. During the pandemic she kept us all going when we really needed it with her brilliant Kitchen Disco. Can’t wait for this performance, we love her!
We’ve also managed to raise an astounding £85K already, via the Silent Auction, which is incredible at such an early stage and something I am hugely proud of. Lets beat all records this year!
The Michael Josephson Charity Ball has always been an occasion filled with warmth, love, and an unwavering commitment to great causes. This year, our dedicated team has gone above and beyond to ensure that the event will be nothing short of extraordinary. It will be a night to remember, as we gather at the Hilton Hotel in Deansgate to celebrate and embrace the spirit of giving.
If you’ve not done so already, get yourself a ticket before they all sell out. It promises to be an amazing evening of music, dance, and camaraderie. Together, we can make a profound impact on the lives of countless young people who are in need of our support. The funds raised through this event will go towards supporting various charitable initiatives, including educational programs, healthcare services, and opportunities for underprivileged youth.
Beyond the Charity Ball, autumn brings with it an opportunity for reflection and renewed determination. It is a time for us to reassess our goals and resolutions, and to refocus on the things that matter most. As we prepare to enter this season, let us all take a moment to appreciate the beauty of change and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead.
