One of Michael’s biggest achievements, and something he is most known for, is the Michael Josephson MBE Charity Balls, presented by Julie Perry Events. These are held every year in Manchester and have become a fixture on the celebrity and philanthropy scene covered by ITV, BBC, the Mail Online, Hello!, Ok!, Cheshire Life amongst other titles. In total, They have now raised millions for good causes.

How it Works
Work begins on each of the Charity Balls almost as soon as the last one is finished with a company called MJ Ball Ltd set-up to deliver each of the events. Michael donates his commercial team to help with the organisation of the Ball, underwriting these costs. He also works closely with each of the beneficiary charities in the run up to the evening. The charitable fundraising on the night is coordinated by the charity partners (beneficiary charities), who adhere to the fundraising code of practice. This enables the net profit from the event to be distributed to the key nominated charities and to selected charities post event. It takes a lot of work and preparation from all parties to create the large scale charity balls, and Michael would like to express his gratitude to all involved for their ongoing support and hard work.
